Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh was sentenced to death July 15, 2002, in the slaying of Daniel Pearl. In light of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed's claim that he killed Pearl, lawyers for Omar Sheikh, as he is known, are appealing.
